Ernst Halbmayer gained his doctorate in Anthropology from the University of Vienna. He is the executive director of the Institute of Comparative Cultural Research – Cultural Anthropology and Study of Religions and head of the ethnographic collection. and the author of numerous publications. His latest book as an editor is South American Indigenous Modernities (Sean Kingston Publishing, Herefordshire, 2018).
